Tesla gets approval to test autonomous vehicles in Nevada

Tesla has received approval from Nevada’s Department of Motor Vehicles to test its autonomous vehicle technology on public streets in the state. The permit allows Tesla to operate driverless vehicles for testing, but not for commercial deployment.
