Indian autonomous driving tech takes shape in Kochi

Along with the softwarisation of the automobile trend growth, India’s opportunity in the global industry is also on the rise. One such example is a Kochi based start-up called RoshAi which is developing autonomous driving technology, and has already got a couple of global firms as clients. Its system (excluding the software) can cost up to INR 2 crore. At the production vehicle level, it could cost less than INR 20 lakh because of economy of scale, according to RoshAi.ETAuto’s Sumantra Bibhuti Barooah traveled to Kochi to get a first hand experience of the technology, and for a discussion with the start-up’s leaders.
