Without fanfare, Waymo opens robotaxi ride service to the public
Last weekend, with surprisingly little fanfare, Waymo revealed it had passed a major milestone and opened up their really true full self driving taxi service in the Chandler, Arizona area to the general public. This means that similar to the way you use Uber UBER +1.5%, anybody can download the app and summon a ride, which will today be done with nobody else in the vehicle.
