Yandex, the Russian Internet company, has launched the “first autonomous ride-hailing service in Europe” in Innopolis, a Russian university city. The pilot is small, with just two vehicles traveling to select points in the city. Over time, Yandex plans to “include more destinations, additional vehicles, and removing [sic] the safety driver.”
