The biggest design questions facing (partially) self-driving cars
Until advanced technology that enables full automation is available, semi-autonomous cars (known as L2 and L3) will require driving input from a human driver in situations that the software can’t yet handle. Ironically, this simpler to develop software is actually more complex from a psychological standpoint, presenting complex user experience design issues.
