Ruter and Holo move forward with MOIA and Mobileye Drive AV fleet

Ruter, Oslo’s public transportation agency, and autonomous vehicle operator Holo have announced a partnership with MOIA to deploy the ID. Buzz AD, equipped with the Mobileye Drive self-driving system, in spring 2026. This follows two years of extensive testing by Ruter and Holo with autonomous development vehicles using Mobileye Drive, and marks the transition to the second-generation self-driving system, powered by the Mobileye EyeQ 6H, which drives the ID. Ruter plans to add up to 30,000 shared autonomous vehicles to the public transportation network around Oslo to reduce congestion and emissions. The ID. Buzz AD is expected to be deployed in Groruddalen, a suburb of Norway’s capital, Oslo. The town has been a testing site for Mobileye Drive since 2023.
