Russia’s Yandex offers driverless rides and passengers say ‘Da!’
Russsian Internet giant Yandex is offering robotaxi rides that are not only self-driving, but there is no driver behind the wheel at all. Yandex, which only launched its first self-driving prototype in May 2017, transports residents through the Russian tech hubs of Innopolis and Skolkovo.
