GAC Group unveils autonomous high-end SUV

(ECNS) — The new energy arm of Guangzhou-based carmaker GAC Group has unveiled the first luxury electric SUV model with the latest autonomous driving technology. The Aion LX has a range of 650 km under New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) standards, the highest in the world. The electric SUV is equipped with Level 3 autonomous driving assistance, an innovative, lighter auto frame, and an indigenous intelligent connectivity system, called ADiGO. The vehicle also makes full use of cloud and big data platforms.
